Choro at Gamboa

Conceived by D+3 Produções and with curation by musician Yamandu Costa, CHORO NA GAMBOA gathered some of the biggest emerging talents of choro in Brazil, mixing some already stablished names with new acts, such as Zé da Velha, Silvério Pontes, Maurício Carrilho, Rogério Caetano, Choro Rasgado, Gafieira do Bebê, Nina Wirtti, among others.

In its first edition, the event took place from June 18 to the 20th, 2015, at the pilotis of MAR – Museum of Art in Rio, with free entrance and already finding space in the city’s calendar as a major event for the democratization of this genre.
